Letters & Sounds

Our focus this week has been on Letters and Sounds. As a whole, staff attended an inset morning on Letters and Sounds, and how we can best prepare the children for learning to read by developing their phonic knowledge and skills. This teaching falls largely within the Communication and Language and Literacy areas of learning in the EYFS, and uses fun games such as Metal Mike.
