FOREST SCHOOL

Forest school is a way of helping children to engage with and learn about their natural environment. It provides the children with the opportunity to develop their self-esteem and to become independent learners at their own pace. Be prepared to have fun, to get dirty and to establish your own boundaries and to take calculated risks. It is about creating an area in which children are able to show their creativity, innovation, motivation and problem-solving skills.

We hold a Forest school session every Thursday led by Suffolk Wildlife Trust. We have a piece of wooded land we are able to use which is located within walking distance to preschool.
