We're all going on a summer holiday!
The children finished off their preschool year with a party at a local village hall in Bradfield St George. Lizi Long was our party host and entertained the children with lots of fun games based around a summer holiday theme. We packed our suitcases, soared through the skies on a jumbo jet plane, went to the hotel mini disco and ate some delicious food and drink. Even Sue and Vanessa got in on the act with the shaving foam ice-cream game. A brilliant way to end a good year

Count On Water Summer Concert
Pat Sodey (one of our preschoolers grandparents) worked with the children yet again to put on a fantastic summer show! The children worked hard for several weeks learning lots of songs and actions for their summer concert on the theme of water. It included some lively songs about fishing and swimming and also taught the children about where water comes from and all its many uses. Another great success, well done to all the children who took part.

Hollow Trees Farm Visit
This year we took the children on a coach to Hollow Trees Farm for our summer outing. The children had a ride in a trailer pulled by a tractor and saw lots of different animals, including some very shy alpacas and some very greedy goats. They learnt about the different crops that are being grown on the farm and planted some seeds to take home with them. It was a fabulous trip enjoyed by all the children and staff. We cannot commend Hollow Trees highly enough for their exce

Tidy up time at Preschool
A big thank you goes out to all the parents, children and grandparents who came to help out at our annual tidy up morning. It was a roaring success and so many jobs were able to be completed, making our preschool look and feel even better than before. Jobs involved cleaning out gutters, cutting down overgrown trees and bushes and painting our brand new shed. It was so good to see so many volunteers turn up and offer their help and support. There was such a great community fe

A Fireman in the building...
One of our dads in preschool is a fireman. He came into preschool, in his uniform and talked to the children about the danger of fire. They played a game pretending to be caught in a fire and learnt how to ring for the fire brigade. The children even got to try on a real fire helmet. They thought it was very funny when Sue was given a fireman’s lift around the preschool!
